Walter Schellander, a qualified Metallurgist and Electroplater, who prior to setting up The Bronzing Studio in 1990 worked in Hong Kong for 8 years and was in charge for the South East Asia region for a German company called Schering GmbH. Prior to that he worked in Switzerland for 13 years as a Chemical Engineer in R & D for a Swiss and American company. Walter has done High tech applications for companies such as Alcatel, the CSIRO, Sydney Uni and Lyntech who require anything from plating 2mm of copper onto fibreglass re-enforced resin for submarine cable coupling devices to nickel coating Silicon gel to produce a molecular copy of the silicon gel imprint. This will then be used in mass production applications for medicinal purposes. His expertise also includes copper-plating Teflon for High Frequency application (end user is the Australia military)
